New file Creation in Saral TDS software
Hello, in this post we will see the steps for New file creation in Saral TDS software. Follow the steps to know the procedure.
In order to create a new file in Saral TDS, open the software and go to New option under the File menu
In the next screen, enter the file Financial Year and File Name.
Next, select the required option. i.e. eTDS Purpose Only or With Tax Computation
Note:
- If eTDS Purpose Only is selected, the file is being enabled for eTDS return filing process for all quarter, all forms
- If With Tax Computation is selected the file is be enabled for eTDS return filing process for all quarter, all forms along with auto salary tax computation for Form 24Q.
After selecting the required option, click on Create to create a new file.
The file created will be saved in the data directory set.
If you want to change the data directory, go to the Data Directory under the File menu. Here, select the required path by clicking on 3 dotted button (“…”) and click on Accept.
Now, all the file created will be saved in this path.
