The Haryana Government Labour Department has revised the basic minimum wages for all employments in the state. The revised wages are effective from 1 April 2026.

The revised wages apply to establishments, factories, employees, workers and contract labour covered under the Code on Wages, 2019.
The minimum wages must be paid as a whole and cannot be split into different allowances.
Men and women must receive equal wages for the same work.
Trainees can be paid 75% of the applicable wage rate, but the amount cannot be lower than the unskilled wage rate. The training period is limited to one year.
The daily wage is calculated by dividing the monthly wage by 26 days. For deductions, the calculation is based on 30 days.
Principal employers must ensure that contractors also pay their workers at least the applicable minimum wages.
