Hello. In this post, we will see the different types of MIS reports under Form 26Q in Saral TDS.
MIS reports are very useful to view the output of a process. The various types of MIS reports available under Form 26Q are:
In this post, we will the report generation for Interest Calculation, Deduction Register, Challan Register, TDS Extract, and TDS Payment Register. Let us now see these report generation one-by-one.
To generate the reports, go to MIS Reports under Form 26Q.
Now, let us see the reports. First is Interest Calculation. This is useful to view the interest calculation for late payment.
Select Interest Calculation and enter the duration for calculation.
Note: The period can be manually entered or click on Q to enter the duration as a Quarter or click on M to enter the duration as a particular Month.
Further, to view a specific record, provide the filter in terms of section and deductee name.
Next, if the interest is to be calculated for a paid deduction, then select Paid Deductions, enter the applicable Interest percentage and click on Set Due Date.
If the deduction is not paid yet then click on Unpaid Deductions, enter the applicable Interest percentage and date of payment. Later click on Set Due Date.
On click of Set Due Date, one can see the due date against the records which are recorded for late payment.
After all the settings are done, select the required type of output i.e. Quick Report or Excel Report, and click on Preview.
The report will be generated with the interest amount payable for the delay of payment.
Next, is the report on Deduction entered.
Click on Deduction Register and enter the required period and filter of details as explained before. Also the type of report required i.e. Detailed report with all the details or Summary of the register. Quick or Excel can be selected depending upon the type of output required.
Click on Preview and the report will be generated.
To view, the report on challans entered, click on Challan Register and follow the process of Deduction Register generation.
To view the details of the TDS deducted, click on TDS Extract and provide the related details.
The report generated will display on the TDS deducted in the selected period.
To view the TDS payment details against the deduction, click on TDS Payment Register and provide the related details.
The report generated will display deducted TDS along with the payment details in the selected period.
