Configuration of Leave Encashment in Saral PayPack

Hello Everyone, In this tutorial, we will learn how to configure Leave Encashment in Saral PayPack.

To begin with, navigate to the Leave Encashment option under the Attendance Module.

Note: Ensure that the Leave Encashment option is enabled for the defined Leave Type.

Once you access the Leave Encashment screen, select the Employee ID and Leave Type from the drop-down list. When the Leave Type is selected, the available leave balance, as per the minimum specified balance, will be displayed.

To enter the Unit Rate Value, you can manually enter the rate in the provided section or click on the ‘F’ button to add a formula for the leave encashment calculation. Alternatively, click on the ‘R’ button to select the rate value from one of the defined Salary Heads.

You can then choose the Contribution Applicable mode as either Based on Amount or Based on Percentage, and select the corresponding Salary Head and Value. Click on Insert to include the selected details in the salary head list

The Amount Round-off Preference can be set as None, Higher Rupee, or Nearest Rupee based on the organization’s policy.

Additional options are available to control how the encashment is reflected:

  • Show in Salary: To display the encashment value in the regular salary.
  • Include in FFS: To include the amount during Full and Final Settlement.
  • On Retirement: To apply the encashment during employee retirement processing.

Under Mode of Payment, select the preferred payment method such as Cheque, DD, or Account Transfer, and specify the Bank Name and account details if applicable.

Once the values are updated, click on Save to store the details. The value can then be processed in the Salary Editor so that the leave encashment amount is displayed along with other salary heads.This completes the process of configuring Leave Encashment in Saral PayPack.
