In this post, we’ll learn how to generate a Challan Form (CRN) by using post-login Type-1 , Type-2 ERI and Representative Assessee , Including its requirements for using it.
All users have access to the service to Generate Challan Form (CRN). With the help of this service, you can create a Challan Form (CRN) and then pay taxes for a selected Assessment Year and tax payment method (Minor Head).
The following people use this service:
In order to use the service, you must need a valid password and user ID on the e-filing portal.
Step 1: Log in to the e-Filing portal with your user ID and password.
Step 2: On your Dashboard, click e-File > e-Pay Tax. You will be taken to the e-Pay Tax page. Select PAN / TAN of the taxpayer on behalf of whom you want to create a challan form (CRN) and click Continue.
Step 3: After entering PAN / TAN, On the e-Pay Tax page, click the New Payment option to create a new Challan Form (CRN).
Step 4: Follow Step 4 to Step 7 is similar to that applicable for Challan Form Creation Post Login which can be viewed from our blog post on “Create Challan Form (CRN)” (Post Login).
