Minimum Wages in Haryana: Revised Rates Effective from 1 April 2026

The Haryana Government Labour Department has revised the basic minimum wages for all employments in the state. The revised wages are effective from 1 April 2026.

Important Points:

    • The revised wages apply to establishments, factories, employees, workers and contract labour covered under the Code on Wages, 2019.

    • The minimum wages must be paid as a whole and cannot be split into different allowances.

    • Men and women must receive equal wages for the same work.

    • Trainees can be paid 75% of the applicable wage rate, but the amount cannot be lower than the unskilled wage rate. The training period is limited to one year.

    • The daily wage is calculated by dividing the monthly wage by 26 days. For deductions, the calculation is based on 30 days.

    • Principal employers must ensure that contractors also pay their workers at least the applicable minimum wages.
