Under this scheme, the dealer must pay the tax and cannot collect it from the buyer. The dealer pays GST out of pocket; thus, they cannot charge it on the invoice. Instead, they distribute a Bill of Supply. The term ‘composition taxable person not eligible to collect taxes on supplies’ must be included on the bill of supply.

An exporter is also not required to include GST on their invoices. This is because export supplies are zero-rated.
